Mr. Squires was born Aug. 29, 1937 in Albert Lea, Minnesota and received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 1968. He spent his legal career in private practice in both St. Paul and Minneapolis, remaining at Martin & Squires until his death on April 20, 2004. Mr. Squires was a lawyer with expertise in all types of commercial and real estate transactions and, as a contract draftsman, he was without peer. He was also a man of many talents and interests, with a love for everything from the outdoors and calligraphy to storytelling and people.
