As an attorney who has practiced law for over 25 years, Mr. Martin specializes in several areas at Martin & Squires, including business transactions, real estate, and commercial litigation on both trial and appellate levels, including shareholder/partner disputes. His clients have included a variety of individuals, privately and publicly held corporations, and government institutions, including city and county governmental units, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and the Resolution Trust Corp.

Mr. Martin began his law career with the Office of the City Attorney for St. Paul, where he served as Deputy City Attorney. He has also acted as Counsel for the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of St. Paul and Counsel to the Port Authority of St. Paul.

Prior to founding Martin and Squires, P.A., Mr. Martin was a shareholder and director of the law firms Hessian & McKasy, P.A. and Tews, Squires, Martin and Martinson, P.A.
