As an attorney with Martin & Squires who has practiced law for over three decades, Mr. Larson concentrates on civil litigation in employment defense - regarding age, sex, harassment, religion, pregnancy, racial, national origin and disability discrimination - as well as defamation claims and claims involving breach of employment contracts. He has litigated coverage disputes, including ERISA claims. He has represented employers and insurers in administrative proceedings, arbitrations and trials in state and federal courts. Mr. Larson has lectured for the Minnesota State Bar Association and other groups on such topics as affirmative action, reductions in force, and employment practices insurance coverage. Increasingly, his practice has turned in the direction of advising employers on techniques to avoid litigation.
